The Development of the Modern Political Debate
Monday, January 24, 2011
Yale University's David W. Blight
This fantastic lecture series, courtesy of Academic Earth,is interesting not only because the lecturer's voice is strikingly similar to Harrison Ford but it is witty. Beyond this the series is jam packed with interesting quotes ranging from Southern eye gouging to Jefferson's opinion of Northern "bastards."
More interesting, for me anyway, is the historical perspective of American historians (then and now) on the relationship and differences between the North and the South.

Watch it on Academic Earth
